NZGDA Pitch Event
NZGDC 2026 is bringing together an exclusive room of international investors, publishers, and studio scouts - and we want New Zealand's best studios on the stage.
This is not a generic showcase.
Our live pitch event is specifically designed to put your studio in front of decision-makers who are actively looking for their next investment or publishing opportunity.
The audience will be curated, the format is tight, and every person in the room will have already reviewed your deck before you walk on stage.
How it works
Studios accepted into the programme will prepare a 10-minute pitch deck showcasing their game and studio. Your deck will be shared with our registered investor and publisher attendees ahead of the event, giving them time to review and vote for the projects they most want to see pitch live. The top six studios by vote take the stage on Friday 3 October 2026 at NZICC Auckland for a live pitch session followed by Q&A.
If you are not selected for the live stage, we will not leave you hanging - we will personally facilitate introductions to any investors or publishers who expressed interest in your deck.
What we are looking for
This opportunity is open to studios that are actively seeking investment or publisher partnerships. Whether you are an emerging studio with a bold concept or an established team ready to scale, if you have a compelling story and a game worth backing, we want to hear from you.
How to apply
Prepare a 10-minute pitch deck that makes the case for why now is the right time to invest and why your game is the one to invest in.
